Paroisse médiévale réformée en 1536, dépendant de la classe de Morges, puis de Lausanne dès 1599, réunie à Oulens comme annexe en 1846, rétablie en 1852 ; en fait resté paroissial au détriment de Penthaz.

Comprend : Bettens (détaché en 1837) ; Bournens et Boussens (annexe de Penthaz 1852-1864).
